How to score free kicks in eFootball 2025 – Destructoid

Like in the sport, very few things in eFootball 2025 can match the impact of a perfectly placed free-kick goal, which can both kickstart a comeback and increase a lead in spectacular fashion.

But although many variables will dictate whether or not you will be able to score during each attempt, knowing the proper technique will allow you to boost your chances by a mile. Here’s how to score free-kick goals in eFootball 2025.

When taking around 20 to 25-meter free kicks against a keeper positioned on the left side of the goal, we were able to score consecutively by first adjusting the angle of the shot so that the ball would face the right leg of the third member of the wall (left to right). Once you do that, perform a kick with around 60% power and immediately hold the left analog stick right/down. For a better look at the angle of the shot, check the image below.

Another sure way to score can be done by aiming the ball between the second and third members of the wall (right to left) before performing a kick with around 60 to 70% strength and holding the left analog stick down/left. With this kick, the ball won’t curl as much from the get-go, and instead, it will head straight to the upper right portion of the net.

How to score free kicks from the right side

When performing non-frontal free kicks from the right side of the pitch in eFootball 2025, you will be able to score by aiming the ball at the right leg of the second player in the wall (left to right) before performing a kick at around 60% power and once again holding the left analog stick right/down.

How to score free kicks when the keeper is on the right side

When performing free kicks against a keeper on the right side of the goal, you will be able to score by first aiming on the right leg of the first member of the wall, as showcased below. Once you do that, simply perform a shot with around 50 to 60% power before quickly holding the left analog stick down/right. Don’t forget to hold the analog input until the ball leaves your feet.

When attempting any of the free kicks above, I highly recommend using players specialized in set pieces, such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Roberto Carlos, for a higher success rate.
