Where to find and how to tame a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite – Destructoid
The Lost Isles update brought to LEGO Fortnite a new world filled with a myriad of surprises, going from the debut of new craftable items to that of the Klombo, a not-always-friendly creature that you must tame to complete the Best Friend Klombo quest series.
But doing the above can be a little tricky if you go unprepared. To help with that, here’s how to tame a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite, as well as a few places where you can find the creature if you are having trouble spotting it.
How to tame a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite
To tame a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite, simply throw a Klomberry in front of it and wait for the creature to eat it. Once it does, get close and select Ride to mount it. You can find Klomberries in bushes all over the Lost Isles map, and you can also grow the resource by using Garden Plots.
After taming it, you can ride your Klombo until it gets wild once more by either losing a set amount of HP or becoming hungry. To avoid the latter, don’t forget to periodically go back to the ground and feed your new friend.
Where to find a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite
Although the formation of your Lost Isles map will be selected at random after you either create a new world or take a Battle Bus to it, those who don’t wish to visit specific World Seeds can find Klombos by heading to both the Jungle and Beach biomes. In my case, I was able to find my first one in the spot marked on the map below.
If you are having trouble finding the creature, keeping an eye on the indicators on your screen will also help, as the one below will appear once you get close to one and pinpoint its location.
